Do these look familiar? I posted a sneak peak a few weeks ago. I made these washcloths for my daughter’s teachers, added a bar of soap and put them in a little fabric drawstring bag. Actually, I made a lot more than these. This pattern is addicting!
details: Yarn was from my stash. (Boy, do I have a lot of brightly colored cotton!) Fire Blossom pattern is a free ravelry download. Soaps are from yummy suds on etsy. They smell delicious!
great washcloths! I think if I made them though, they would not go to the teacher — they would be in my own washroom!
I have something similar that belonged to Roger’s Mom. We keep it on the bureau as a place for our security remote. That way…we always know where it is.
Lots of uses for your pretty washcloths!
Great idea! I was hoping you’d post the pattern, after seeing the sneak peek the other day. Thanks!
I love how they turned out! Too cute. I’m sure the teachers fell in love!!!
What a lucky teacher and such a great idea.
how did you get the striping of the color done? was the yran striped or did you change color?
I used two yarns. One was the natural color, the other was a rainbow variegated.
