sew, mama, sew giveaway day!

Congratulations to Vicki for winning the Sew, Mama, Sew giveaway tote bag!

I’m participating in Sew, Mama, Sew’s giveaway day again. I just love this idea. You can enter my giveaway below and then head over to their website and enter hundreds more! (Yes, hundreds!)

sew mama sew tote bag giveaway

I’m giving away a tote bag. It’s a little smaller than some of my recent bags — the perfect size for knit and crochet, small sewing, and embroidery projects. It would also make a cute purse!

It’s got two big pockets inside and closes with a ribbon tie. The outside and pockets are from a really cute upholstery fabric sample.

How to enter: Leave a comment and tell me how you would use this bag — to hold creative projects? as a purse? something else?

Bonus entry: Subscribe to my rss feed and leave another comment to be entered.

Another bonus entry: “Like” my Facebook page and leave another comment to be entered. (Why did they change that? It sounds even weirder than “Fan.”)

  1. That bag looks perfect for the small amount of knitting I have sitting in a box beside my bed side… I might actually complete it if it were in a bag like that!!

  2. Loving your bag. Very ace indeed. I think I would use the bag to store creative projects I want to take with me when I’m on the go. It is such a sweet bag. LOVELY.

  3. I wish I knew how to knit! Since I don’t, I’d be using this cute bag to carry snacks and an extra diaper around : )

  4. Cute, as usual, Julie! I am in dire need of a little bag to seperate my knitting. Those harmony needles are being treated like the (expensive) babies they are!

  5. love your work, Julie, already a fan and follow your aweseom blog. I would use the bag when I go out on my own
(ie without the kiddies, so no need for a truck load of STUFF)

  6. I really like the print on this bag and would maybe use it as a purse or a small library bag.

  7. It is a beautiful bag. I would use it to carry my crochet project to do on the train … or in the park … or at a cafe …
    aeonie :)

  8. I’d like the lovely tote bag to carry my knitting things in.- The socks will be ready in time, just before the feet are grown a lot.

  9. I love the fabric you have used in this tote… I can see my stockings in here. I would get uspet if I fot it dirty, so it would be hanging in my wardrobe, taking care of the delicate things :)

  10. I’d use it as my purse – one that doesn’t do double duty as the diaper bag…wouldn’t that be nice.

  11. I would use this to carry a few things to the gym like my water bottle, headphones, etc. But it’s definately too nice to put sweaty clothes in!

    Crossing my fingers.

  12. Lovely! My mother in-law has very kindly agreed to teach me to knit, so I’m imagining this as a storage place for my soon-to-be-acquired knitting supplies! :)

  13. I love it! I’d use it in anyway I can. Going out, carrying small quilting projects to quilter gatherings, getting books from the library. A bag like that should be shown! Thanks for the giveaway.
    :) Amelia

  14. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, cute cute! I don’t think this is large enough to hold my stash, but it may hold enough yarn for my beginer’s project. I crochet but have recently decided to take up knitting. You can never have too many hobbies. (lol) Especially ones that involve yarn.

  15. Beautiful tote! I would either use it for my knitting or as a diaper bag. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  16. i’m in dire need (is that possible) of a new crochet bag. the kids are making mincemeat of my yarn balls floating around the house….
I think I’m going to win!

  17. I think I would put my unfinished knitting in it, or maybe all my other WIP projects laying around the place.

  18. Julie,
I love your tote bags. I would use it to keep my to-go stuff in. I keep a bag with items to-go with me when I leave the house: knitting, bank deposit, book, family schedule, etc. Right now I am using boring tote. This is just so pretty–I would love to pamper myself and use this pretty mama-sewn bag!!

  19. I’d love to use this bag for my hand sewing gear :)

Thank you for holding this give away, your bag looks gorgeous!
